In a month that is 3.5 inches down and only 2 pounds. I will take inches  off my thighs any day!

Keto On Peeps

Just did my measurements for my monthly weigh-in. I am down 8.5 inches. This last month has not been ideal. With my grandfather passing away there were many cheat foods and many alcoholic drinks. A lot of sleep loss, and vacation time spent with friends and family. However, I got back on the horse. We have had some cheat days too many to list. We have been aggressively house hunting so loads of eating quickly in the car. Mc Donald’s, and Hardees!! However, that is no excuse just life. I am recommitting to continuing to my goal weight. So here, I am middle of July and still I have lost 25 pounds since April. I never thought I would be able to lose weight this easily by changing my diet to something I actually want to eat. I will be working on a meal plan for those of you that want to get into Keto but become overwhelmed with all the information out there. read more

Life has a way of getting away from ya

It has been over a year. Since I have wrote anything to my followers. It has been a CRAZY year. I dumped my deadbeat boyfriend who was using my home and money as he pleased. I reconnected with my EX-HUSBAND. Yea I know WTF was I thinking. Lol Well I was thinking we are older and slightly wiser now. We always had fun, we just never had adult responsibilities, and adulating by yourself is hard. We started dating last summer and was remarried by October!! Again crazy I know, we wanted an outdoor wedding in Iowa so either early fall or late spring. read more

Updates

Well it has been over a year. So many random things have happened in the last year where to begin.

Let me think I broke up with a few boyfriends in that time (shocking I know!) I just have not found someone that vibes with my kids and I. I do not have loads of time to take care of a man-child. If you are unable to pick up after yourself and help clean my house that you live in. I do not have time to deal with whining bitch poor me attitudes. I enjoy bitching but I do not remain stagnate and wallow in self-pity. I bitch and move on. read more

Review of the Jawbone 24 up

So I have had my Jawbone Up24 for two weeks now. First off I have to say measure, measure, measure before purchase. I totally guessed my wrist size and bought a small and had to return the darn thing for a medium it was chocking the life out of my wrist/hand. I must say I do love it I wish it had some other features making me contemplate getting a different bracelet. First off it has shown me that I do not get of my butt as much as I thought I did. I barely meet my 10,000 steps a day even when I walk my mile before bedtime with the kids. I have also noticed that I get no sleep. I get very little deep sleep and I wake up more than once during the night. I average 5 to 6 hours a night. No wonder why I am dragging butt all day long. I would prefer a bracelet with a display so I can double check my calories. I did see a fit bracelet at wal-mart on clearance and was tempted. I do like creating alarms to wake up or eat, and when I have been inactive for a few hours the Jawbone vibrates catching my attention, better than an alarm on phone. (This also means I do not need to have my phone suctioned to my butt.) I can walk away from technology just a bit. Now, the meal planning part of it I had a hard time figuring out how to enter my food choices. I found it easier to sync to My Fitness Pal and just enter my food sections there letting the sync do its thing. I also sync to my Runkeeper app to help update my calories when I take my little walks. I now keep my Bluetooth on so my Jawbone can consistency sync and I have not noticed a deceased battery life in my Samsung Note 3. When reviewing the Jawbone I saw some people ha issues connecting their bracelet I will get maybe one notice a day that my bracelet is not syncing I force close my UP app and then open it again and it finds the bracelet every single time. Remember the bracelet is still recording so you are going to get your activities updated when it catches it again. Nothings lost. I do have issues with telling my Jawbone I am about to go to sleep. You have to hold the button on the Jawbone until the flashing sun turns into a flashing moon. I have forgotten twice now and so I do not have any data from those nights. I also have issues with changing the Jawbone to sleeping time and then I read a book for three hours. Well depending on if I move a lot it will record that three hour as broken or restless sleep. Even though I know I was up to 1 am. I wish I could see my heart rate and I wish it had a tiny screen to read any of the information its recording. read more

Why do you do the VooDoo that you do?

During a recent conversation with a friend she asked me what kind of business do I run? I laughed a little and replied, “Well I run many business, five actually” FIVE!! Then I tried to give a brief explanation of what I actually do for a living. I have a web design business, a vinyl decal & shirt business, a makeup, hair extension, jewelry, bath products & resin memorial jewelry business, there is the digital scrapbooking business, and my newest endeavor I am a BeachBody coach learning how to live a healthier life, gaining muscle, learning my true strength and helping others to do the same. She kind of smiled and asked why do you do so much? Why? Hmm… The quickest answer is money; we all need to make a living. read more

Successes & Struggles

Questions my coach sent me today. What were your successes, struggles, and goals for the week?

This week was a random week. It was the start of both boys being in school. Which means Monday, Wednesday and Friday I was completely by myself. As well as switching my weekly schedule to combat when I had to pick up and drop off the boys. Mentally I was amazing. I cranked out 10 new designs for shirts and vinyl for Digital Stars Vinyl. I started a new book series Outlander, and fell in love with the story. I spent probably 17 hours this week alone reading!!! University of Phoenix somehow gave me a week off. I have no idea why and I am just going to take it. Nutritionally I sucked ass., this week. I was unable to drink Shakeology everyday and I was unable to eat three meals every day. I was also invited out to eat three times this week!! Even though I try to eat moderately when I go to Pizza Ranch I still end up stuffing myself till I feel gross. Exercising was also pretty hit or miss. I normally schedule three separate exercise spots during the day, one for Piyo, one for the elliptical, and one for walking a mile with the kids before bedtime. I had days where I was unable to exercise even once that day. read more

Let’s Organize to a healthier you! 2

Let us talk about adding Google Tasks to our arsenal. Some people can use tasks to lists their Get It Done objectives; eat lunch, drink Shakeology etc. Tasks can be date specific or not. They are not time specific, which is why I use tasks for open-ended projects, and weekly goals. Make a list of friends that might be interested in getting fit, make five new connections this week, etc. Again, for my daily to do list I need reminders in real time to make sure I hit my daily goals. Having all my tasks pop up for the day at midnight does not help me, compared to my eat lunch reminder popping up at 11:30, elliptical and reading flashing on my screen at 3:30. read more

I thought we would talk about organization and time management. Now everyone has his or her own way of organizing there to do list. Pen and paper, filo flex (planner), calendar reminders on their phone, and maybe even sticky notes all over their house. I truly need a multidimensional approach otherwise I will simply forget call it old age or trying to juggle multiple appointments and tasks. Let us start with the tech side of reminders.

What to do with you have an Unsupportive Partner?

Hey followers. I had an entirely different post planned tonight but yet again life happened. Back to the big question what to do when you have an unsupportive partner. I am a big believer than when you surround yourself with positive people positive things will happen. It also goes that when you surround yourself with negative people you become negative and you attract negativity. I cannot even tell you what happened or how it happened. I reached a breaking point.
